Opening Tomorrow: Revisiting America

BOND STREET GALLERY is pleased to present Revisiting America, a group show curated by amani olu. This exhibition explores the shift in American culture following the Second World War, and how that shift has influenced American values today.

The show includes the work of Timothy Briner, Jon Feinstein, Matthew Gamber, Justin James Reed, Angie Smith, and Brian Ulrich.

The opening reception will take place tomorrow (Wednesday the 15th) evening from 6-9pm.

Originally from Washington, DC, Kate Phillips has lived in Paris, Philadelphia, New York, and a tiny medieval village in Northeastern France. She has worked in the photography departments at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, picked grapes, and taught creative writing, mosaic arts, and English to high schoolers. She currently lives a ping pong existence, bouncing back and forth between jobs at Aperture Foundation and Magnum Photos. She lives in Brooklyn. BOND STREET GALLERY is located in Carroll Gardens between Smith Street and Park Slope’s restaurant and shopping districts. Established in 2008 by photographer agent Bruce Kramer and photographer Robert DiScalfani, the gallery is dedicated to fine art photography, showcasing various forms of contemporary works from emerging and established photographers.
